When first learning about designing for digital products, I often became frustrated with how well-thought out concept work would stay just that. As a naturally curious person, I have always found the grey between design and engineering fascinating. So, I decided to learn how to code.
Owning the workflow from problem defining to shipped solution has been incredibly gratifying. Being pragmatic, yet optimistic about how people come together to solve really hard problems keep me a pupil of my craft.
When friends and family asks me what I do, I like to say
“I make really good websites”.
Design has taught me about simplicity and intent; Both in how I act and how I communicate. I feel grateful to work in a space that allows me to build the right things, and to build them to last.
